We’re kicking off our monthlong tea towel design challenge series with a Spoonflower tradition: tea towel calendars! For this challenge, create a 2019 calendar to welcome in the new year. Get a head start with our 2019 calendar templates, available on the blog, or create your own.
Details
Entries will be submitted at the Linen Cotton Canvas fat quarter size (27″ x 18”) but automatically previewed during voting as a Roostery x Spoonflower Special Edition Tea Towel. Follow the guidelines on the Spoonflower blog to ensure your design looks beautiful as both an unfinished Fat Quarter on Spoonflower and a finished tea towel on Roostery.

- Designs will be viewed as a Tea Towel on the voting ballot. Acceptable repeat options for this challenge are Basic, Half-Drop, Half-Brick, Mirror, Center.
- Designs previously uploaded on Spoonflower.com are not eligible for this contest. Designs do not require printed proofing to enter the contest.
- The popular vote determines the top 10 winning designs. Voters include Spoonflower artists and customers as well as the public.

Place
- One first place winner each week will receive a $200 Roostery credit, a $200 Spoonflower credit and one custom Linen Cotton Canvas Ultra Spoonflower Edition tea towel in their own winning design from Roostery ($17 value).

- The 2nd place winner will receive a $100 Spoonflower credit and one custom Linen Cotton Canvas Ultra Spoonflower Edition tea towel in their own winning design from Roostery ($17 value).
3rd

- The 3rd place winner will receive a $50 Spoonflower credit and one custom Linen Cotton Canvas Ultra Spoonflower Edition tea towel in their own winning design from Roostery ($17 value)
4th–10th
Place
- Remaining top 10 designs will receive a $20 Spoonflower credit and one custom Linen Cotton Canvas Ultra Spoonflower Edition tea towel in their own winning design from Roostery ($17 value).
1st–10th
Place
- The top 50 popularly-voted designs from each theme will be automatically made available for sale in the Spoonflower Marketplace (provided they are a verified seller) where they will receive 10% commission on every sale -- no $5 swatch required.
