flow into each other.
Though not the original colorway, this version of the design is my favorite.
While working on the painting "Awakening" I was fascinated by the concept of the various reflections, and began thinking of a young girl as she awakens to her womanhood. I imagine each reflection as representing a different aspect of this young woman - each aspect real, important, genuine - and yet sometimes in apparent conflict with other ways in which she sees herself.
A photo of the original painting was edited in Adobe Photoshop to create an artistic repeat. This is a hue shift from the original.
You may view the original painting here, where prints and note cards, etc. are available: http://mary-wykes.pixels.com/featured/awakening-mary-wykes.html
