You can embellish with buttons over eyes and at the arm/leg joints if you wish. Or make up as is, needing no added materials (beyond thread and stuffing, of course).A fat quarter will make one in most fabrics - fabric width varies, so PLEASE check that you see a complete pattern in the fat quarter fabric you've chosen before ordering. It's set up so you may also buy it in yardage which will be less expensive than fat quarters if you wish to make several bears. (I think it would be best in one of the knit-type fabrics, as it would fill out softer and smoother than in a plain weave fabric.) Some fabrics would give you 4 bears to a yard, some fabrics would give you 6 bears to a yard and in a few fabrics you'd get a bonus bit of paisley I put on the edge.
