The panel prints in full on 1 yard of 54" or wider fabric. (The panel will get cut if printed on Petal Cotton). Recommended fabrics: Linen Cotton canvas, Lightweight Cotton Twill, Dogwood Denim, Cypress Cotton Canvas, Belgian Linen. If you wish to make a quilted bag, Organic Cotton Sateen is a good choice. This panel makes a fancy tote bag, complete with lining, overlapping outside pocket, zipped inside pocket and straps. The print is a reproduction of The Great Wave of Kanagawa by Japanese artist Hokusai. For the lining, I created a matching dark blue Japanese wave pattern. Sewing tutorial available on my website.
