justice.
This painting began with a photo of fencing taken in Kosovo, a decade after the war. Emotions still raw, confusion over justice and players with mixed loyalties, push and pull over what was right, and what it would take for everyone to feel settled again. Persimmon orange shifts to tangerine and melon, red and rust. Behind orange bars, contrast teal and aqua mint, cyan blue and beige, lilac gray. Color matching is usually less of an issue when hues vary like this, but a test swatch can help. If you need resizing or rotation, send me a note with link to this page. c2009 CR Leyland
