Magpies: learn to fly, against a blue Australian sky with a white gradient flaring behind the magpies. With acknowledgments to Gisela Kaplan's Australian Magpie (2004) with its wonderful pictures and information on this highly sociable, adaptive survivor.

I'm considering this for a bedcover, and still trying to get a feeling for the scale, but I think I've got that gradient working perfectly now, as you say (and thank you so much for this phrase!): Magpie Ascension.
