Description:

This design is no longer available for sale as fabric beginning July 2015. If you are interested in purchasing it, please contact me directly.

My inspiration for this came from a Restoration Hardware bed set that was far too expensive and not exactly what I wanted for my son's big boy bed. This is what I came up. All the planes are actual blueprints from WW1 aircrafts with their names, designers, and years of operation in my hand writing.

scrose25 says: This is pretty fabric, however not worth the money. First of all it's very see through. Second, when I ordered 4 yards, I really only got 2 yards because they don't overlap the fabric while cutting it like at a Joanne Fabrics or at a Hobby Lobby. Pretty disappointed to spend that much and not have nearly enough for my project.

antniki says: I am SOOOOOOO EXCITED that I found this fabric!!! I am working on a "big boy" room for my son and found the perfect bedding at Restoration Hardware but it was way too expensive. How many yards of fabric will I need for a full size bedspread?

mekoontz says: I am in the beginnig stages of making a "big boy room" for my son. When I decided to do an airplane room that wasn't to babyish I knew it was goign to be hard to find bedding. I saw the airplane room on Restoration Hardware's website and fell in love with it but the bedding is just out of my price range. I have been searching for something that I liked just as much and finally found your fabric! Thanks so much for using your talent to make exactly what I wanted affordable. Even though my son is only 2 1/2 now I feel like with this pattern and other ideas i have collected it will be a room he can grow into and will love for years.

fireflower says: This is lovely is all of the colorways you are showing! I like the delicacy of the drawings, showing craft that were, in fact, quite delicate, made of wood and cloth. One of the first aviators in the US Army Air Corps told me that they had to assemble their own planes from the crated pieces that were shipped to them from the factories. They must have used at least some of the drawings you have collaged here.
