I can imagine this used sparingly as a statement wallpaper at the larger scale, maybe with matching cushions; or in a smaller scale for scarves or masculine cravats (the blue & red says "nautical" to me), or even as a decorative jacket lining that's meant to be seen.
Original: chalk on paper, Japanese mon stencil; half-drop repeat. My husband convinced me to proof it on silk crepe de chine at a small scale and I do like it at that size - it made a nice long scarf - see pictures above. [Currently set at 600 ppi, previously 330 ppi: scale can be changed on request.]
