Announcing Poly Crepe de Chine!
I can imagine this used sparingly as a statement wallpaper at the larger scale, maybe with matching cushions, or in a smaller scale for scarves or masculine cravats (the blue and red says "nautical" to me), or even as a decorative jacket lining that's meant to be seen.
Original: chalk on paper, Japanese mon stencil; half-drop repeat. My husband convinced me to proof it on silk crepe de chine at a small scale and I do like it at that size - it made a nice long scarf - see pictures above.[Currently set @ Fabric: 506 ppi (previously 330 ppi), Wallpaper: 187, Decal: 150 (basic repeat), Gift wrap: 276 ppi: scale can be changed on request]
