Octopod tessellation in diamond formation, using 2 alternating colours but one orientation, with circular eyes.

Octopod tessellation in diamond formation, using 2 alternating colours but one orientation, with circular eyes. Currently displaying 2" repeat in very pale silvery greys with counter-changed eyes and white lines, for a ghostly effect. Other colours, stylings, sizes and orientations are available on request and you can even ask for a combination of several designs together.

sef says: I'm just waiting for someone to do a cthulhu themed wedding, or similar occasion, and to need formal wear (clothing or table) in tentacles.

In printed form you actually get more of a 3D effect from adjacent coloured areas - with the reds leaping out from the blues (the same as with flowers in a garden).

In English, the plural is octopuses - ie none of this silly Latin bolted onto Greek "octopi" business. If one was being consistently ancient, it would have to be the original octopod with plural octopodes. Octopus is quite a recent addition to the dictionary.

joanmclemore says: Great looking monochromatic toning with the gray values. Very sleek and elegant. Looking at in perspective, makes the lighter color octopus (how do you plural that?) appear to be rising above the darker ones.
