Long ago I was thrown out of art school after only two semesters, fortunately I did not take this personally. My fledgling company is called Third Half Studios. Thanks for looking!

"I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked..." The poetry I am drawn to is the kind that is like getting hit in the face with a slab of raw meat. Although, that probably isn't the most popular feeling you want to convey when sewing your cafe curtains. Maybe I can convince a few of you :)

uzumakijo

uzumakijo says: Woah...rocked it indeed!, love the writings of the 50's beat generation, especially Ginsberg, Kerouac and Burroughs - this is a fabulously brooding design that really portrays the feeling of some of the heady and confronational ideas they had at the time. Wicked idea to do Howl and cool design you've come up with for it!.....btw Rhonda sooo awesome you actually saw Ginsberg read live!!!

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: This is a wonderful interpretation of the dark passion of Ginsberg's poetry. I was fortunate to see him at a live recitation/ performance many years ago (when we were all much younger!). Your evocative design has brought the amazing experience of that occasion back to mind. Thank you. I think that the fabric has great potential to be used in a quilt for a poetry buff.
