Description:

Inspired by the poem. You may have learned a slightly different version, see the note below.

You may have learned a version, with either "snips"* or "snakes" instead of frogs; but "frogs" just seemed the friendliest version to me.

*note: "snips" are small eels.

I can make this design smaller. At the largest size the puppies are 4 1/2 - 5 inches.

victorialasher says: uzumakijo, I'm so sorry I missed your comment; thank you so much. I have a just snails coordinate for this now, it's in the collection. I wanted to proof it with this but had a difficult time getting a nice repeat; and couldn't put off proofing this one as I had someone wanting to purchase some.

uzumakijo says: Oh Victoria, I can't believe this adorable design completely passed me by...the puppies are so cute and i love the jumping frogs....and of course i'm a massive fan of snails! I never knew what snips were either, now i'm quite glad haha! the frog version is much lovelier! This is so sweet!

victorialasher says: Thank you Patty, Kiwiandsteve, Scrummy, and Catru. It's so nice of you to post more lovely comments after I lost the others. It lifts my spirits. I will be doing coordinates for this, hopefully soon; but I have so many projects right now, maybe it's a good thing I didn't make the 75.

scrummy says: Of course your perfect doggies deserved so much better too Victoria! I'm sure you'll sell lots. Perhaps you could do a little boy apron set with them! How adorable would that be?? :) xxx

pattysloniger says: ugh, I've done similar myself and it sure feels rotten! But these pups are sure to amass plenty more fast, you really captured their puppiness perfectly! :)

victorialasher says: Thank you, Cean, Kiwiandsteve, Jillian, Patty, Catru, Vo, Simboko, Rhonda, and Scrummy; for the lovely comments you placed on this design earlier. A little snafu; and all those comments were lost. Hopefully all is now well. I also lost the total count of "views". <p>I never knew what "snips" were either; then I heard it as "snakes" and thought I had simply learned it wrong as a child. I looked it up when I wanted to do this design, because I didn't know if I wanted to do snakes; and learned what "snips" are. Too much of an eew factor to me; but I saw the version of the poem with frogs and thought, "That will work!"
