Once upon a time I used to teach how to do computer-aided textile design... fell out of it for several years, may dabble in it again, we'll see.

Strawberry houses, kiwi apples, melting orange clocks with crazy hands... oh and watermelon monsters eating blueberry bananas. Sounds like a surreal dream I had once after too many fruit cocktails...

madam0wl says: Under fluorescent light with a crappy cell phone camera... the best I can do at the moment for the most realistic look. This is 8x8" swatch printed on quilting weight cotton at 300 DPI. I used that DPI rather than the larger scale 150 DPI because I wanted to fit more of the repeat into the swatch. The 300 DPI is probably a more usable scale. There was very little color shifting, I'll probably leave this one as is.

madam0wl says: Thanks for noticing! :) I ended up using the Liquify effect/filter in Photoshop. Yes they are watermelon stripes and pineapple stripes. Thanks for your comment.
