Description:

Monster High ski helmet cover. Two ski helmet covers (cut and sew) and enough leftover fabric for a kids tee

You have to order this one in performance knit which is wide enough and elastic enough to work. It makes two ski helmets (cut out and serge up the joins, then serge or hand sew a little over the top corner so it goes over smoothly). Turn over the edge and put elastic in, or add an elastic casing in black fabric. There's enough leftover fabric to make a draculaura tee (I made one sized for a 10 year old). Watch out because the front panel with draculaura stretches length ways so you want to have a good stretch on the back, or put some black stretch fabric in as side panels.

paula_collins says: cut along the lines, serge up the edges and tack over the top corners. Fold over the outer perimeter and sew/serge down to make a channel for the elastic. For the tee watch out because the panel is non stretch widthways, so use an elastic fabric on the back or cut the back from the other direction on the yard. I used performance knit for this project!
