weavingmajor says: Thank you, Sue Ellen! Yes, alphabets are fun to make. And yes, I too wanted to do this in 'actual butterfly colors' but got tripped up because many of these butterflies are multicolored - the black/orange/yellow of the Monarch, for example. When I made the font that these are taken from, I had to take them all down to B&W designs, and it's strange to be adding color back into something that was originally reduced down to a black and white icon. Hmmmm....

fireflower says: Great idea, this! I often sit and make alphabets of various things, but I am not familiar enough with butterflies to have done it with them. This design would also be cool in a palette of actual butterfly colors, not many of which would be mauve.
