Frogs carry out most of their development in public, unlike mammals. On graduating from tadpole-hood to young froglet, they gradually lose their tails but still have a large head in proportion to the rest of their body. A "teenaged" frog (at about 2 years old for rana temporaria) will have a more straight-line body appearance (as per the current image). Increasingly older adults tend to acquire saggy, flabby, round bodies behind their pointed heads. I think they're adorable in all stages of life, though.
A tessellation of frogs or toads in symmetry group p2mg. The minimum 3 colour mapping scheme destroys the underlying symmetry. Other colours, stylings, sizes and orientations are available on request and you can even ask for a combination of several designs together. Currently displaying a flower-power version in a blended subset of colours from the spring floral contest palette.
