lulabelle says: I LOVE that idea, and can't wait to try it out today! I've scaled this print up so you can see how it looks larger, but I'm going to play with "scale enormous" and mixed scale today. Can't wait! Thanks, Fireflower!

fireflower

fireflower says: Oh, I look forward to seeing the larger scale, too! I have also done a few of my own designs in scale enormous, and they are, as you say, unexpected and eye-catching. But, that said, there's no need to restrict oneself to one scale ... just think about the possibilities for using 2 or more widely differing scales in the same project!

lulabelle

lulabelle says: Fireflower, I personally love the really large scale; I swatched some of the other colors out much bigger and they are unexpected and eye-catching. I'm going to go scale this one up to see how the public responds. Thanks so much for your comment!

fireflower says: I like this cheetah pattern at this scale, but I can't help imagining how it would acquire a delicious textural feel at quite a small scale.
