fireflower

fireflower says: It's rather like having a well-stocked pantry/larder: If I put something I like into my favorites, I know right where to find it when I want/need to use it, or even if all I want to do is just bask in it's beauty or skill or cleverness (rather like going in and sighing contentedly at all the chutney made for the winter). Besides, it's also a little bit like voting, but on designs that aren't entered in contests, and I can vote as idiosyncratically as I choose, without having to compare the design to the contest theme :-D

sef says: Well the contest set didn't do humungously badly but, then again, it also wasn't exactly a top runner. However, I thought I'd fling it in for proofing in the end anyway, just to see. You yourself must have a ridiculously long favourites list by now, though! :-o

fireflower says: I've been enjoying wandering through this collection this morning, and found several i like quite a lot, such as this lovely one for Capricorn --- it has an almost tactile textural quality to it. The patterns are very pleasing to my eye, and I know there are many who would also take pleasure in wearing, or placing in their homes, the particular one for their Zodiacal sign. My mother would have gone for the Aries one in a trice, for instance, even if it hadn't been in orange, but in orange it would have fit right into her sewing room color scheme.
