joanmclemore says: Amy I haven't had the nerve to sew the knits with a sewing machine. I've admired the fact that Su has sewn knit wardrobes so beautifully with a sewing machine and have wanted to be able to have a few simple things that I could say I'd done. As a matter of fact I have a gorgeous vest that Su made from one of her designs. I love wearing it and knowing that it came all the way from Australia. It is a real treasure. I won't ever be able to do anything like she does, but at least I will be making the attempt. I'm having fun doing some practice serger sewing right now. It is worth having it just for the rolled hems on the silk, if I never get as far as knits. Thank you both!

su_g says: Oh how very exciting Joan - I totally agree with Amy - this would be perfect in a knit - I can just see it!

joanmclemore says: I wanted to have something multi-directional in knit for working out something to wear (hopefully!), as I am trying out various ways to use the serger. Thank you!
