su_g says: This is a LOVELY coordinate - with those cool aqua-blue stripes and all the wonderful texturing. Would be interesting to see this at a larger scale too - in terms of home decorating applications.

joanmclemore says: Thanks Sue Ellen! The textures came through really well in print. I do feel they would work out well in upholstery or home decor projects. I like brights too............but I sometimes figure the decorators might lean to the calm neutral colors, so I put those together from time to time. That is a real feat to have captured the eye of a lover of bright colors with something softer..............thanks for letting me know how it comes across. :)

fireflower says: Oh, but this is luscious! The antique tones and textures, the mottled softness of the intertwined squares, all combine for a lovely result. I know I love my bright colors, but this is soft without being dull and dingy, and I really like it. It would be lovely in heavy silk drapes, but sateen will do until heavy silk is available.
