Description:

Growing up backpacking as a child, I learned a few valuable lessons. Sometimes, you just gotta go. And while leaving the tent is scary, getting back can be even worse.

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: This is a seriously spine-tingling, scary design! It has my imagination in overdrive and I now feel a need to be in a brightly lit place! You have created a sensational design that will be perfect for anyone who likes a bit of chill and thrill with their fibre art!

thesumm...

thesummercountry says: Thanks for the kind words, wren and donna. The half brick option simply switches the top two panels, so that you see the dark forest first and then the flashlight turns on. It won't let me save that view until the contest is over. I would like to spend some more time with the design, working on the tiling, but for now I think it would make a lovely pillow - lights out on one side, illuminated on the other.

wren_le...

wren_leyland says: Captivating. The trees turned out a useful device for dealing with the tiling.

donna_k...

donna_kallner says: I'm intrigued, Ariel! The contest view doesn't allow changing to half brick. Can't wait to see that version -- and all the other fabrics we can look forward to from you :)
