I like this design. It almost looks as though the flowers were overprinted on a black and silver Damask --- and I admire the skillful repeat! Not only do I think it quite lovely in that coral-pink (nicely non-cloying) against the shadow tulips in the background, but also I am so pleasantly reminded of spring at Van Lierops bulb farm, where I used to go to soak up the view of acres of flowers, before filling my car with armloads of them, and driving back to Tacoma surrounded by the scent.
I love it! It's simple, graphic, colorful, and the plane shapes are arranged so artfully that it takes a second look to see that they are the same. This would be so cool as a Jacquard-woven fabric, like in a tapestry-weight, or perhaps in a satin brocade.
