I like that the Royal Air Force reference is there, but changing the tones makes it more pleasing to the eye in the pattern. I stare at this and wonder if it was planned, or happened by chance. Either way, it's fantastic! And I agree with Rachel and Victoria--I'd love to have a floor tiled this way!

very fun! I had some heavy cardstock puzzle pieces as a child that could be fit together to make different groovy patterns similar to what you've done here... your design brings back happy memories (but your color choices are fresher and lovelier!)
