Unfortunately, the difference in color is one of the limitations of Spoonflower printing. It can be corrected though, by picking up a red (or blue if you buy the blue fabric) fabric marker (the kind with dye, not paint) and color in the stripes. If you follow the drying/setting directions on the marker, the results look fantastic.
As for the darker waves, that's actually how the original shirts were, the cuff waves are nearly black and don't match those on the main shirt fabric.
Ordered a fat quarter of this fabric to go with the ps red repeat fabric for my Eleventh Doctor cosplay corset.
I was REALLY DISAPPOINTED with the color quality. The solid stripes in the ps red cuff repeat pattern, instead of matching the red/burgundy of the ps red repeat fabric, is an odd chocolatey-purple. The scroll pattern between the stripes is darker as it should be when compared to the original ps shirt worn my Matt Smith.
I'm not sure if this is a problem with the original file or if this is a printing issue. The ps red repeat looked so good, which makes this all the more odd.
