Hi su_g, just because I didn't intend it that way doesn't mean your interpretation of the design as Amsterdam resting on a book isn't perfectly valid! I like the idea - maybe one of those little architects models. Thank you for your comments!

I saw this as Amsterdam resting on a book - a concept I enjoy, not having ever been there - but see I need to work on my canal-spotting abilities... or read the notes! I do like the design, especially all the detail on the windows, & the restrained color scheme.

I like how you've kept this to two colours. The houses and canal look great.

Thank you! It's #6B0906 - I had it printed on the cotton knit and it came out a bit lighter and a bit more toward the orange spectrum than I had expected. That could be because the knit is cream to start with and you get a bit of the white peeking through between the 'ribs' since it's printed, not dyed.
