I bought cotton voile fat quarters during the BOGO sale to make scarves. One fat quarter split in half with the ends sewn together makes about a 55 inch scarf. I put a soft lightweight non-stretch suede cloth on the back. I'm excited to wear it on my pilgrimage ;) The colors on the cotton voile are not super saturated which I like. The colors depicted in the other 2 projects looked a little too bright for my taste. Backing this lightweight fabric with black fabric also tones it down nicely.
