chibi, if you add multiple yards into the page you can see how the design runs. A skirt made of this would be 54" long (minus seam allowance and however much more you cut off) and however wide you buy yards of. I would say about 2 yards would do well for most dirndl skirts like: http://www.blogforbettersewing.com/2009/08/sew-full-gathered-skirt-part-one-make.html
Hello. This design is incredible but I'm a little confused about the dimensions. Can you tell me if the border of the print runs parallel or perpendicular to the selvage? Or can you recommend how many yards I would need to get for a 30 inch waist? Thank you.
I am making a Rapunzel costume for this years Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and your fabric is absolutely perfect, thank you so much for sharing! Do you have any tips on what to line this dress with?
I loved this fabric for giving a special touch for my Rapunzel costume. I just love how the bodice it turned out because of the perfect fabric! I'm going to make another version of Rapunzel soon and will use these fabrics again to give the right touch.
