weavingmajor says: LOL - thank you, Tallulah! I could sure smell them when I was scanning them in - and it isn't hard for me to imagine even now. ;o)

weaving...

weavingmajor says: thanks Bargello! Ah yes, I had a younger sister who didn't mind if the points got worn off the crayons... ;o)

bargell...

bargello_stripes says: Your design has always given me the same feeling I had the first day I saw it -- that feeling that only comes when you opened the jumbo box of crayons, inhaled their scent, and felt your imagination expand beyond any limits but the demands of a brother who wanted to "share"... ;-O

weaving...

weavingmajor says: LOL, Arwen, thanks! There's nothing new under the sun - and scanning crayons to make a design certainly is a copy in the most basic sense of the word. I'm thrilled with eleventh place - best I've done in years! ;o)

evenspor

evenspor says: I see you just barely missed top ten. Of course, yours is a classic. Everyone else's is just a copy. ;)

weaving...

weavingmajor says: aww, thanks Penny and Rhonda! The seamless repeat actually isn't too hard with crayons... each layer has the same number of crayons so it's automagically the same width, and the seams are pretty easy to hide between the crayons... ;o)

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: There is such an eye-pleasing, rippling rainbow flow to the pattern of colours in this design! The fabric will be ideal to make into a range of school-related items.

weaving...

weavingmajor says: thanks Victoria! Yup, I haven't had time for the contests lately so it's fun to have one pre-prepared! It will be a fun one to vote in, since I love and covet all manner of school supplies! ;o)
