Pretty Sugarplum Fairy cut and sew ornament patterned fabric for making Christmas ornaments or small

stocking stuffer. Fairies are all in pink b

Pretty Sugarplum Fairy cut and sew ornament patterned fabric for making Christmas ornaments or small stocking stuffer. Fairies are all in pink ballet costumes, and have pretty pastel vanilla, mint, lavender and white backgrounds. One 8" swatch will get you one ornament, a fat quarter 4-5 ornaments and a yard will make 20 ornaments. You will need- -scissors -needle and thread (thimble is good too!) -ribbon for hanging loop -stuffing (polyester fiberfill or cotton balls) Cut along the outer pink oval, leaving uncut the portion where the pink areas are joined. Fold your fairy halves where the pink areas join so that the two halves are facing each other, right sides together. Sew carefully just inside the inner oval, leaving the space between the dots open. Turn your ornament so that the right sides are facing out and stuff with filling. Carefully stitch the opening closed, attach a ribbon loop for hanging and you are all set! Embellish your fairy with glitter, beads, sequins or lacy trim, or use just the front half of the fairy for appliques or other crafty ventures. These would make cute gifts for a little girl's birthday party, or even fun little pincushions. (or voodoo dolls, if you've been wronged by a sugarplum fairy lately...)
