Description:

Fat lobed petal pattern derived from the semi-regular square and equilateral triangle grid S43433.

Lobed pattern based on a regularised version of the pentagon inverse of the semi-regular square and equilateral triangle grid S43, using a power 3 envelope function with the outline removed and the lobes radially subdivided. Currently displaying 2" repeat in pinks on pale azure blue. Other colours, sizes and orientations are available on request and you can even ask for a combination of several designs together. { A standard optical illusion should allow you to see the underlying squares and triangles which aren't there. }

sef says: Do you not get the ovals/ellipses (diagonal and overlapping) at the FQ scale? I think the "safety-pin" is purely down to the inclusion of a colour gradient rather than being native to the design format.

su_g says: WOW! This is wonderful - and I see what you mean about the visual illusions - I get circles at teh FQ and a sort of safety-pin shape at the one yard views, amazing. Great colours too.
