drawstrings for each bag
1. Serge or narrowly hem left and right edges (18 inch sides) (shorter sides) of fat quarter 2. Cut along the centre black dashed line lengthwise into two pieces 3. Fold each bag in half, using solid pink fold line. With right sides together sew seams to the left and right of the ladies (bottom of bag is a fold) 4. Fold down along solid pink line to form casing at top, then press 5. Sew along the two dashed pink lines to form channel for drawstrings. Turn right side out, pick away the stitches on either side seam of bag, between the 2 green lines to form 2 holes for the drawstrings 6. Use satin cord and feed with safety pin thru one side and back out the same hole, tie ends together. Feed another cord thru the other side, on a safety pin and bring it back out thru the same hole, tie ends together.
