Fiber Art: I paint, dye fabric, discharge fabric, paint on fabric, make small monoprints using fibers, sew my own and others' fabrics (but not quilts) and knit a lot. I hang out at high end craft shows when I can. Sometimes I read and sleep.

Animals head for their winter homes after an early snowfall. Also known as "Animal Tracks". I see this as a real "manly" fabric, but what to make? Boxer Shorts? Pajama bottoms? Looks great as a large plaid. See also Animal Tracks (small) for the small version.

khowardquilts says: This would have been perfect for a quilt that I stenciled animal prints on.

rhondadesigns says: This is brilliant! The variations in the direction taken by several woodland dwellers, are marked by the different sets of footprints. These create some really interesting line patterns on the grid of the design's repeat. Visual interest is enhanced by the different shapes and tones of the prints. It is a bit like a tracker's guide to what went where!
