Classic and curious lie side by side in this creative collection. Traditional pinstripes flow in rich colourways of olive greens and plum purples. Other designs seems to inject this tradition with a jolt of electricity, setting lines into a vibrating current of waves and flashy diamonds. There’s no break in these illustrations as they jingle together intensely and dramatically. Yet their rich, warm hues soften the dramatic pattern, relaxing them with an almost homemade, quilted feel of cosy layers. Other designs are set against a sharp white backdrop, their vivacious stripes seeming to fizz and pop in contrast. Some appear almost like ringed notebooks, their dots and teardrop shapes like candy striped paper edges.
