    About the Design

Not for sale currently because several European countries are drawn inaccurately. After making various sized globes from my first fabric, I decided my favorite sizes were the nine-inch (23 cm) and the juggler (3" or 7.5 cm). A fat quarter makes one nine-inch and one juggler, a yard makes four of each; a yard of the wider fabrics have an extra of each. **I don't recommend the Poplin for globes, as the Poplin is very stiff and unstretchy - my experience is that the globes turn out wrinkly. Petal Signature is my first choice, though the knits and the sateen work as well.** other size globes are available here (http://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/weavingmajor?shop_selection=tag&tag=globe) Updated multiple times, most recently Dec 2012 - see comments for details of changes.
