Cheater quilt and twirly skirt in one! 140 rainbow colored squares - all the fun of a twirly patchwork skirt (or cheater quilt), without the hours of work of actually patching that many squares together! Will fit most children and adults with waist/hip size less than 42". Fold the pink strip at the top over to make an elastic waist band. A zipper or buttons can also be added to the skirt to extend the fit of the waist. Finished skirt is 18" long, but can be lengthened by inserting solid colors of fabric between the patchwork layers. 1/4" seam allowances included. For the bottom hem, either fold 1/4" under or add a narrow strip of your own fabric for a ruffled bottom.
