This design is proportioned and sized to be printed as a fat quarter on the linen-cotton canvas, or a fabric wider than 54 inches. Inspired by a piece of art depicting a girl walking through sunny and dappled woods (a piece from my grandparents' house that I've loved since I was little), I wanted to show the year as a stroll through the woods in its various beautiful seasons. Voila, it's "Le Bois des Mois" or the Wood of the Months. Snowflakes, cherries, and a treehouse, oh my!
