By Andrea Enthal

A Cuisinart of abstract mirror designs borrowing from Victorian, Edwardian, paisley, and art nouveau. You will also find orphan cars, and adaptations of very old ads. Most of her work is hand drawn with twists, vines & Celtic knots.

Description:

To see more of this artist's work use the keyword 2084 alone or in combination with a subject word such as 2084+branches.

This tangled twist of paisley and branches, buds, and filigree curls was made on card stock the color of the old supermarket paper bags. But none of my bags ever looked like this. They just had the name of the market and whatever promotional sayings the company was using at the time.
But if supermarket bags could break free of their advertising, to release their inner feelings on their customers...oh my. They wouldn't say things like "lower prices" on them at all. There would be a mutiny at the check out counter when you tried to put that smelly fish in.

(file h74--This is the full master image for all of my designs that begin with the file code h74. All h74a designs will be this color. h74b the next color, but from this same art, etc).

edsel2084 says: Well, gee, thanks. I guess my 20 years as a professional rock critic (where you had to come up with interesting and different ways to describe 20 bands that all sounded the same) is finally good for something! Try coming up with titles for 4000 abstracts, and you too would be ready to see the bags at the supermarket rise up in mutiny.

whimzwhirled says: lol, again with the titles. Of course the design is delicious as always but your titles kill me. I bet you could write one heck of a surrealistic fantasy novel!
