The original stories, as collected by the Grimm brothers, were very dark, gothic and sinister. These illustrations are based on the stories from a 1910 edition of Grimm's Fairy Tales passed down to me from my grandmother. The illustrations are my own original work. ©Jeremiah Witting 2013
