Quack medicine has been a popular product category ever since there was such a concept as medicine and two of the subjects that have produced a constant string of quackery are growing hair and enlarging body parts. Offered here is a scan from an etching of an advertisement for "Bust Cream or Food" which it claims is "unrivalled for enlargement of the bust." Exactly how it supposedly did that, I could not say, but there do not seem to be any rubber gloves provided with this product. Wouldn't you think, if you rubbed it on your bosom with your hands and it enlarged that body part, it would enlarge your hands too?
