Flower forms in such bright colors that they make me think of the plastic and nylon ones sold in 99 Cent stores, combine with old fashioned wooden airplane propellers, and twisted border basket weaving, in this checkerboard of diagonally oriented squares. You have the floating orange and red square that has the propellers sticking out of its sides. And you have the dark purple buds square with the dark blue flowers sprouting between its corners. But if you look more carefully you will see is what you really have are those fake blue flowers in a lime and blue border, creating the diagonal patchwork pattern of this design.
