There is a vaguely far eastern oriental feeling to these large flowered blocks full of hearts and spades, and stylized blooms. But the colors have no roots in any Japanese kimono tradition. They are pure psychedelic Haight Ashbury meets chrysanthemum. I can see everything from petunias to snow balls, orchids, and vines in here. But mostly what I see is an entirely abstract garden planted in seeds brought back from Mars. The background greens appear a little darker on the printed version than on my monitor, but otherwise the colors of the monitor seem relatively true. (file j81c, #1694054)
