Description:

Remember these little hard candies? They looked just like Venetian millefiori glass! I was obsessed as a child with them, I have memories of staring at each pattern for hours. Voted 15th out of 207 in the "Sweets" contest.

In case you want to see how these candies are made, check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uep6FKZWRsY

victorialasher says: I always loved these candies. You've done a nice job on them.

hootena...

hootenannit says: Cut rock were my favorites, too. Close behind them were the raspberry gumdrops with little candy balls all over... and that's exactly what the dotted background looks like! Great palette - very vibrant, and nice interplay within the individual candies!

snowflower

snowflower says: Luscious color palette...they look delicious. Great job and good luck in the contest!

groovity

groovity says: thanks rhonda...that was a huge dilemma for me! I actually took the whole pattern and made it teeny and a solid color. My husband says it looks like basketball texture, lol! But it kind of does!

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: The dotty texture works well as the background for these pretty sweets.

groovity says: Thanks everyone! And Tallulahdahling, I also used to make those polymer clay canes and beads, hehe! See my fixation?? haha! So many great entries!

tallula...

tallulahdahling says: I loved these candies as a child. Not surprisingly, they're made with the same technique as for making polymer clay bead patterns, except with the clay you don't pull, you roll. : ) This is a delightful design!
