whip_nut_cherry says: I ordered 2 yards of this and then found out that their organic cotton knit is woven here in the USA but the fibers come from India. We only use USA grown and woven fabrics. So I'm looking for an alternative right now.

fireflower

fireflower says: Super! I like the Persian-carpet approach... certainly both the carpets and the paisley fabrics were much favored by everyone at the time, and the painters (particularly the Fauves, with their fascination for bright and multiple colors) were intrigued by them. I like your choice of the darker coral for the main color, it gives such warmth and energy and depth, with the top notes of mustard and coral pink and white for sparkle. And I sure admire your multiple tiny details, just as in the old ones from afar! Good luck in the contest!
