Message me for resizing designs or colors changes and turning designs 90 degrees to better use the fabric. I share an interest in fabric design with my sister ArtbyJaneWalker . I'm a quilter and have a love of fabric. I can set up photos for pillows.

Description:

I took my very geometric Matisse inspired design and turned it into a hand drawn "painting" so it looks like it could be part of a Matisse painting. The diamonds are from floor tile and anemone flowers from a vase of flowers.

This has now been altered slightly from my contest entry; it is now a 2 yard long design suitable for curtains with a plain green border on the bottom for hemming at the full size. If a smaller size repeat or a 3 yard long design is needed, message me. Also, let me know if you want it with the border railroaded (running the long way of the fabric.).

khowardquilts says: I finally got a swatch of this and edited it to 2 yards long with the idea that it would be suitable for curtains.

khowardquilts says: Rhonda, thank you for your nice comment. I was aiming for a painterly look that could fit in a Matisse painting. I wanted it to represent a bold fabric that was not so busy that it would distract from the subject of the painting.

rhondadesigns says: The painterly quality of your design gives the geometric shapes a charming appearance! My first thought when I looked at your design was that it looked like an attractive scatter of pretty postcards!

khowardquilts says: Took my Matisse inspired design and made it look like it could have been in one of his paintings.
