About the Design

A knit-look, 'questionmark' design

A knit-look, 'questionmark' design. If you look at the 'swatch' size by clicking the respective radio button on the right, you'll see that it really looks as if it was knit. Though, of course, that look is just printed - unless you order this design in 'Organic cotton knit' - in which case the large knit look would still be printed, but the fabric would be stretchable. The selvages of this 42 inches wide design are bordered with 3 inches of solid turquoise/green stripe - that stripe can be used for things like sleeve cuffs and neckline. Of course this fabric doesn't just work for a vest - it would also be great as a dress for female doctors :-) As wallpaper, this really works best as some kind of 'vertical border' because of the two bordering turquoise stripes along the sides. Please also have a look at my other 'blue box' themed designs in the collection which I set up for them (http://www.spoonflower.com/collections/25045)! If you were always wondering how different colors print on the various fabrics that Spoonflower offers, please do have a look at my website where I have quite a few comprehensive photos of color swatches printed on various fabrics!
