The only letters for me are the real ones, the ones that are real on paper, real with ink that smudged your fingers, pressed into something that you can touch, can feel, not the ephemeral electronic bits bips blips on your screen, blinking at you, no ghost in the machine, I want the real letters that you had to pound out with your own hands on that old typewriter . . .
