This design is a tessellation (in plane group p1) of a glider style of aircraft. The only symmetry operations in play are translations. There are no glide or mirror reflections or rotations - even though it superficially appears to have a centred cell (resulting from the selection of a special case parallelogram one). Currently displaying a version in 3 colours - which is not the minimum map colouring but has a smaller rectangular unit cell (and 4 colours would be even smaller).
