Recommended fabric: Cotton Sateen or poplin for brilliant colors, colorfastness, and texture. Mirrored to give you extra plushies/appliques. You can use the extra brim piece to give the brim more body and the extra cap sections could make a nice little change purse or pocket inside of your hat.. Hint: You can save time on the "feathers" by adhering to fabric tape or iron-on backing before cutting (saves the step of stitching and reversing each feather). Lap the "feathers" on a strip of bias tape and stitch in place. Then fit the finished ribbon of feathers to the hat as a hat band. Want a view without the blur?
