In one full yard you get enough pieces to build one complete, lined purse. You can swap the inner the outer pieces if you prefer. Lined purse with 2 - count 'em - 2 pockets. Put both on the inside OR put center one on the inside back and one on the outside back for a REVERSIBLE purse! A two-color strap makes it even more fun. Use fusible stabilizer between the fabric to give it body or a thin layer of batting (and machine quilt it). Add a magnetic catch concealed in the liner or insert a loop in the middle of the flap edge and sew buttons on both sides of the front to create a latch for a reversible purse. Stitch a few rows length-wise on the strap to give it more body. Embellish the shoulder strap base with buttons or ribbons if you like. You can add a magnetic closure or attach a button and loop to hold the flap closed.
