My beautiful city has a rich history that highlights our motto of the city of arts and innovation. Depicted: The Mission Inn arch (California Historical Landmark #761), the St. Francis statue, a raincross one of our city symbols. From its beginnings in 1876 as the Glenwood Cottage, the Mission Inn contains a hotel, shops, and a chapel centered around an open patio; its furnishings include pieces from the Orient, Mexico and Europe, as well as Tiffany windows. Mt. Rubidoux known for being the ifirst non-denominational outdoor Easter Sunrise Service in the United States. The cross at the summit is dedicated to Father Junípero Serra. The Fox Theater where the movie Gone With the Wind made it's world premier in 1939. The Parent Navel Orange Tree: The parent navel orange tree in the United States. The tree is 139 years old and still bears fruit. A special nod to independent coffee houses especially Back To The Grind for continually promoting music and art in Riverside. Also available in gray: http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/1017475 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/vivage/6970900353/)
