Thank you, Amy. I must admit, I was wowed seeing it on a skirt. Never envisioned it that way. Now I will have to make one for myself.

Thank you, Sef, Amy, Virginie and Lien. It made an otherwise bad day really good to hear that I was in the final group. Keeping my fingers crossed hard now!
Congratulations Pamela !!
Congrats on making the Top Ten, Pamela!
Top ten - with hardly any photo-based ones left in at all!
Thanks, Isabella and Maria! I really appreciate what both of you said about the movement. It was was what I was seeking.
wahoo! great movement
This is almost hypnotic, Pamela. I love the movement. It's a very attractive use of the source material.
Thank you, Virginie!
Fantastic !! Great textures and movements !
Thank you, Amy and Grace!
beautiful textures & movement! great palette too!
Love how this moves and flows, Pamela!
Wow! Thank you, everyone, for your lovely comments. Keeping my fingers crossed now.
Great design - best of luck!
lovely and handsome
Very beautiful, you've captured something very real in an abstract way, admirable.
Yeah! You got in! I LOVE this design!
I love the texture you have in this, and the yellow flowers are so sweet!
This design looks great in all of the various colourways! The grey and yellow has a contemporary, urban chic, appeal!
I love the way the "path" shifts back and forth; sort of like an M. C. Escher stairway.
This colourway is my favourite, I am glad you left it as the entry. I love what you have done with the curved lines, a modern sophisticated design with lovely texture!
Good idea, I think it is really nice!
I ended up leaving this one as the entry. It was a tough decision.
Looks amazing with the texture overlay, which one did you enter? The Cherry Splash is my personal fave :)
Thanks, everyone. I have been so busy making other colorways that I just now am getting back to viewing comments. I came up with the idea when I was almost going seeing double from working on the computer all night. Sef - I know what you mean. I was trying to keep it simple but still make it different. I did use almost all photos though. With the exception of one overlaid texture that I drew, the textures and outlines are all copied directly from the photos. I just changed and reduced the number of colors so it prints better and warped the curves slightly so they fit together seamlessly.
I'm definitely in the less is more camp - ie designs which use very little of the original images, like this one, are more attractive. (Rather like in the fixed palette butterfly contest.) I did an almost-everything-including-the-kitchen-sink one anyway, though.
I love the 'meandering paths' and the contrast between the 'street' and the 'flowers'.
beautiful! well done
Lovely movement and color combos.
Thank you, Greta. It's such a striking photo that I think there may be a lot of designs using it.
Great Design! I like the way you used the reference photo. I like that one too! :)
This is such a beautiful and modern design! The limited color scheme works very well on this design.
